YOUR ROLE:
- Drive sales of our ophthalmic optics products across the EMEA region, providing expert technical advice to customers
- Build and nurture long-term customer relationships, including the negotiation and development of long-term contracts
- Represent the company at national and international trade fairs and industry events
- Identify and develop new business opportunities while implementing effective sales and marketing strategies
- Manage quotation processes and prepare sales reports (e.g. budgets, forecasts, monthly reports), as well as market and competitor analyses
- Contribute to the development of creative, market-oriented sales concepts (e.g. go-to-market strategies, campaigns, product bundling) and support innovation and product management initiatives
- Apply solution selling methods: conduct needs analyses, create tailored use cases, present value propositions/ROI, and guide customers through decision-making processes
- Translate customer requirements into concrete solutions, including suitable pricing models and package structuresCollaborate closely with Aftersales, Business Development Consumables, and Technology teams to ensure smooth processing of customer orders
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completed vocational training or degree in a commercial or technical, or related field
- Several years of experience in sales or a comparable position
- Solid understanding of both technical and sales environments
- Fluent English skills (mandatory)
- Ideally, experience in selling system solutions
- Willingness to travel internationally
- Proactive, independent and solution-oriented work style with strong organisational skills and flexibility
- Excellent communication skills, assertiveness and a confident, friendly yet ability to work in a team
- Commitment, ability to work under pressure, quick comprehension and a high level of loyalty and integrity
